20:55 -Station 50 and 60 were dispatched for a helicopter crash in the area of 1400 Block of Laurel Blvd. with possible entrapment. When P-4 went responding and received additional information from dispatch he requested another engine company to the scene which then added Station 30 to the call. Upon arrival, fire fighters found a downed helicopter with a flight crew of three starting to be extricated by neighbors in the area and that one of the engines was still running. Fire fighters then stretched a 1 3/4" line to provide protection to personnel operating around the helicopter and to shut the engine down. All three crew members were taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital for minor injuries. EMA was notified due to the type of crash and because of the fuel spill. This then added Station 10 to the call for air monitoring and to assist with foaming down the area around the helicopter. Units were on scene until late afternoon on the 31st until the helicopter was removed.
